Trek Fuel+ MX 9.8 XT Gen 2 combines the subtle assistance of the TQ-HPR60 with a mixed-wheel setup: 29 inches at the front to roll over obstacles and 27,5 at the rear to manoeuvre the bike through tight sections. The 150mm rear suspension and 160mm fork give the MX version a playful trail character.

• A boost for climbing: The 60Nm TQ motor offers smooth, quiet assistance; the removable 580Wh battery powers the system without the bulk of full-power e-MTB.
• Fox Factory and Shimano XT: The Fox Factory 36 fork and Float X shock handle impacts. The XT 12-speed drivetrain with 10-51 cassette offers low gears for climbing.
• Trail braking: The four-piston Shimano XT M8200 brakes work with 203mm rotors. The dropper seatpost creates room to move on descents.
