Formula Belva Fork (Dual Crown)

We wanted a strong, reliable enduro fork: we built it.
We believe that a dual crown design is the best way to build a strong, long-travel fork.
The Belva is not a revamped DH fork. Designed with custom forged crowns, lightweight 35mm stanchions, a 43mm offset, a locking lever, a 1,5” tapered steerer and a 15mm axle, it is a fork ready for enduro. Weighing 2,370g the Belva is comparable to a 38mm single crown fork but much stiffer. Stiffness is not everything, however: using our proven Selva stanchions, the Belva can flex where it is needed most. With dual crowns and a direct mount stem, precise steering can be combined with traction and comfort that let you follow the trail.
And the name? In Italian, “Belva” is a mythical beast from Dante's Divine Comedy. A fitting name for a fork built to devour trails.

Formula was founded in Prato in 1987 by Andrea Becocci and his wife Daniela, and remains based there. It makes brakes, suspension and wheels for mountain bikers, bringing its motorcycle experience to the trails. In 1993 it introduced Standard, a hydraulic disc brake designed specifically for mountain biking.
