Trek Dual Sport 3 Gen 5 lets you choose your route as you go: tarmac, cycle paths and gravel roads in the same ride. The 650x50mm tyres add support and absorb small bumps, while the rigid fork keeps the handling direct and the construction simple.

• More freedom to choose your route: The wide tyres make rough surfaces more comfortable and provide traction on compact dirt, so you can keep going where the tarmac ends.
• Carbon fork: The Dual Sport carbon fork keeps weight down at the front and offers rack and mudguard mounts.
• Gearing and rims: Shimano CUES 10-speed with a 11-48 cassette for gradients; Bontrager Kovee Tubeless Ready rims for a future tubeless setup.

Rack and mudguard mounts let you equip it for everyday journeys or a day out with panniers.

Trek was founded in 1976 in Waterloo, Wisconsin, by Dick Burke and Bevil Hogg and is still based in the same city today. It makes road, mountain, gravel, city and electric bikes to support different ways of riding. Its story began in a barn, with 904 steel touring frames produced in its first year.
