The Wilier Rave SL is a new gravel bike in size M, with a carbon frame and fork and a Shimano GRX 1X12 groupset. It suits you if you want to alternate between road rides and gravel routes, choosing a single bike for both and a build with a single-chainring drivetrain.
The Wilier Rave SL inherits its racing design and geometry from its bigger sibling, the Rave SLR, sharing the same sporting character.
- Drivetrain gearing: The Shimano GRX FC-RX610-1 40T crankset works with a Shimano CS-M7100-12 10-45T cassette and a RD-RX822 GS rear derailleur.
- Brakes and rotors: The Shimano GRX BR-RX600 brakes are paired with SM-RT70 Center Lock rotors measuring 160 mm / 160 mm.
- Wheels and tyres: The Miche Graff XL wheels are paired with Vittoria Terreno Dry Folding 700X40 tyres.
- Handlebar and stem: The Ritchey H-Bar Road CMP Ergomax handlebar is complemented by the Stemma S stem.
- Saddle and seatpost: The Prologo Dimension AGX saddle is paired with the Filante SLR Custom Made -15 mm/0 mm seatpost.
Choose it if you like to decide your route as you go: its dual purpose lets you follow your desire to ride on tarmac or unpaved terrain.
Manufacturer's details
Rave SL is the second step towards a new horizon. It shares its origins with the Rave SLR project. Racing geometry finds new life in a bike with a dual character: road and gravel. Technical details with a single aim: to put riders who love riding on any terrain with a single bike, without taking themselves too seriously, at the centre.
The geometry and design come from the SLR platform and meet a new material. The carbon fibre frame uses a different lay-up, changing the substance rather than the shape. In the same size, the Rave SL frame weighs just 140 g more than the multi-award-winning Rave SLR.
Scalable technology combined with skilled carbon fibre craftsmanship reflects Wilier's SL philosophy, which becomes the common denominator between Rave SL, Filante SL and 0 SL.
