GENERAL INFORMATION
What cookies are and what they are used for
A cookie is a text file that a website visited by a user sends to their device (a computer or a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet), where it is stored and then sent back to that website on a subsequent visit.
Cookies are classified:
- according to who installs them, depending on whether this is the operator of the website being visited (known as "first-party cookies") or another party (known as "third-party cookies");
- according to the purpose of each cookie: some cookies improve browsing by remembering certain user choices, such as language (known as "technical cookies"), while others allow the user's browsing to be monitored, including for the purpose of sending advertising and/or offering services in line with their preferences (known as "profiling cookies").
ย
Only profiling cookies require the user's prior consent to their use.
The Data Controller is responsible solely for the first-party cookies it installs on the Website.
In the "First-party technical cookies" section, you can view the types of first-party technical cookies set by the Website.
The management of profiling cookies is described in the "Third-party profiling cookies" section.

First-party technical cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Website to function and cannot be disabled. They are usually set in response to actions that constitute a request for services, such as setting cookie preferences, logging in, completing forms or setting browsing preferences.
- The Website sets browsing or session cookies that ensure normal browsing and use of the Website.
- The Website also sets cookies that record your consent to profiling cookies being set and your related preferences. These cookies recognise you on your second visit to the Website, so that you are not asked again for consent to the installation of profiling cookies.
- Technical cookies are also used to allow you to browse the Website while retaining the choices you have made.
- The Website Owner also uses "anonymised" Google Universal Analytics. This means that the cookies set by Google Analytics only allow statistical data analysis, without the possibility of identifying individual users.
- The Website also uses cookies that retain your choice of how Products are displayed on the Website.
- The Data Controller also uses cookies that keep track of the Products viewed by the user during their session on the Website.
- The Data Controller also uses "anonymised" Google Analytics 4 (GA4). This means that the cookies set by Google Analytics 4 only allow statistical data analysis, without the possibility of identifying individual users.
ย
Third-party profiling cookies
In the cookie banner that appears when you first visit the Website, you can review the profiling cookies set by the Website and specify your preferences.
