Trek Precaliber 20" is an easy-to-ride bike for children who have already learnt to pedal. The single-speed drivetrain lets them focus on balance, line choice and braking; the Alpha Silver aluminium frame and child-sized controls help them handle it on rides in the park and with the family.
- Sized for young riders: The 20-inch wheels are intended for children approximately 114-132cm tall, roughly between 6 and 8 years old. The child's height is the guide for choosing the size.
- No gears to manage: The single-speed drivetrain lets them concentrate on riding. The front and rear V-brakes have levers sized for children's hands.
- Tyres for the park: The 20x2,25-inch Bontrager XR1 tyres add support on tarmac and easy trails for those first family explorations.
The handle integrated into the saddle lets an adult lend a hand when setting off. It can be replaced with a rear light mount.
Trek was founded in 1976 in Waterloo, Wisconsin, by Dick Burke and Bevil Hogg and is still based in the same city today. It makes road, mountain, gravel, city and electric bikes to support different ways of riding. Its story began in a barn, with 904 steel touring frames produced in its first year.
