The ARC 1100 SPLINE 38 CS reaches new heights of engineering excellence, with carbon spokes that make it the lightest Aero wheelset on the market. Every element has been designed down to the smallest detail to optimise weight without compromising performance. The refined carbon spokes reduce weight, allowing you to conquer one climb after another. At its heart is a new SPLINE hub fitted to a 38 mm-deep Aero carbon rim, the lightest ever. Developed using PURE Carbon technology, it ensures that you need not fear gravity, even on climbs. On gentler gradients, the aerodynamically optimised profile will propel you to the top faster than ever.

Rim
The ultimate climbing rim, with a depth of 38 mm, combines the low weight of our PURE Carbon technology with aerodynamic optimisation to reach the top even faster.

Carbon spokes
The first wheelset with carbon spokes. The aerodynamic carbon spokes provide greater stiffness and lower weight.

Hub
180 straightpull hub for carbon spokes with a specially engineered design and precision-machined flanges.

WTS Technology
Optimising the wheel and tyre as a complete system for even greater speed. Although we already offer some of the fastest wheels on the market, the next step was to start considering the wheel and tyre as a complete system: the Wheel Tire System (WTS). With AERO 111, we developed the ideal front tyre tailored to our rims, taking aerodynamic optimisation to the next level. The development of the complete wheel and tyre system (WTS) is part of our AERO+ concept, the perfect blend of drag, handling and efficiency. We have applied this technology to our Aero and Endurance categories, taking their aerodynamic benefits to the next level with a tailored tyre that perfectly matches their respective internal rim widths.

Aero+
The perfect symbiosis of drag, handling and efficiency. When refining a wheel according to the AERO+ concept, the various parameters are optimised with a single goal: increasing speed! Translational drag is the aerodynamic force that slows the rider in the direction of travel. This force depends on the rider's frontal area (75%), the road bike and its components (25%), as well as speed. To minimise translational drag, the frontal area of the rider and bike must be reduced, optimising their aerodynamics as much as possible. To go faster, it is essential to reduce the aerodynamic drag of the rider and bike, as the force increases in proportion to the square of the speed. From 15 km/h upwards, aerodynamic drag is the greatest resistance the rider has to overcome. The front wheel plays a fundamental role, accounting for 8% of total drag.

Spoke technology
The creation of high-quality spokes marked the beginning of the company. DT was synonymous with high-quality Swiss spokes even before the founding of today's DT Swiss AG Today, DT Swiss spokes stand for durability and precision and, thanks to their unique manufacturing process, offer an unrivalled combination of low weight and stability.

Tubeless technology
All DT Swiss wheels are compatible with tubeless technology, and the ASM versions are tubeless-ready, equipped with tubeless tape and valves. Tubeless tyres offer several advantages over the traditional combination of inner tube and clincher tyre: the tyre can be inflated to lower pressures without risking pinch flats (so-called "snakebite" punctures), while providing better grip. Lower pressure offers greater riding comfort, and the absence of an inner tube eliminates friction between the tube and tyre, reducing rolling resistance over terrain and obstacles. Using tubeless sealant allows the tyre to seal punctures and small cuts itself. A major advantage for anyone who enjoys long rides and could find themselves several kilometres from the nearest repair shop if a problem occurs.
