And for unrivalled ease of customisation, Code Ultimate offers tool-free reach and contact point adjustment. To finish, a carbon lever blade joins Lever Pivot Bearing technology to keep the action smooth.

  • Our most powerful brake, using our SwingLink and lever pivot bearing for effortless riding

Technology

Contact Point Adjustment

Some people like the instant power of a short lever throw. Others prefer the feel of a longer throw. With contact point adjustment, you can choose where you want your fingers to be when the brakes engage. It is a quick and easy way to customise the feel of your brakes without moving the pads. It also lets you balance both brake levers so they feel the same.

Founded in Chicago in 1987 by Stan Day and a group of cycling enthusiasts, SRAM is still based in the US city today. It makes drivetrains and brakes for road, gravel and mountain bikes. Its story began with a single product: Grip Shift, the shifter that lets riders change gear by twisting the grip.
