Hope Tech 4 V4 Disc Brake - Right-Hand Lever

The new Tech 4 lever has changed considerably, and not just in appearance. Hope has also taken a major step forward in technical performance. The reservoir has been enlarged and redesigned. Thanks to the new design, the Tech 4 brake lever can deliver 30% more braking power. For a particularly light lever feel, the spring rate has been reduced and a guide is used for the brake piston. An industrial ball bearing at the pivot supports smooth movement. The brake lever is now longer for better modulation and greater control. As before, lever reach and bite point can be adjusted without tools. The two-piece handlebar clamp simplifies installation, as nothing needs to be removed from the handlebar.

The V4 calliper is very stiff and features large cooling fins. High braking performance, excellent modulation and thermal capacity reliably bring even heavier riders to a stop on the most demanding terrain.
The callipers, machined as usual from T6 2014 aluminium, are the result of development work using COSMOSWorks FEA (Finite Element Analysis). This reduces weight, improves appearance and creates the ideal partner for the Tech lever. Sealed bleed nipples simplify maintenance, and the extended fluid outlet makes hose routing easier. The brake pads can easily be removed upwards, eliminating the need to remove the wheel when replacing them. The unique strength of this huge brake calliper is its generous internal width, which allows ventilated brake rotors to be used!
