The Focus JAM2 7.9 is a full-suspension e-MTB with an aluminium frame, available in grey in sizes S and M. The build combines a Shimano Steps EP8 motor, a 720 Wh battery and FOX suspension: an option for you if you want to spend your rides on the trails.
The Focus JAM² 7.9 accompanies you on long rides with a relaxed pedalling position and comfort praised by E-MOUNTAINBIKE.
- Shimano EP8 assistance: The Shimano Steps EP8 motor delivers 250 W and 85 Nm, with 2 customisable assistance profiles.
- Removable integrated battery: The 720 Wh battery is integrated into the frame and can be removed.
- FOX suspension: The FOX 36 Float Rhythm fork offers 150 mm of travel, paired with the FOX Float X Performance rear shock.
- Deore XT rear derailleur: The drivetrain uses a 12-speed Shimano Deore XT M8100 rear derailleur.
- Geometry with Flip Chip: The Flip Chip on the linkage allows you to change the head angle from 65.5° to 65°.
- USB-C port: The USB-C port on the top tube allows you to charge your devices during your ride.

The Shimano EP8 e-drive offers dynamic power and a lightweight system that supports the agile geometry of the JAM² 7.9. You have two motor assistance profiles that you can customise to suit your needs. This lets you easily switch via the display from a smooth, steady profile for your trail ride to a highly dynamic, progressive profile for your actual route. It depends on your preferences. Our specially developed, integrated yet removable battery also supports your extra-long rides with 720 Wh. A USB C port on the top tube also allows you to charge your devices.

OPTIMISED KINEMATICS PER UNA HIGH PROGRESSION
With the update to our well-known F.O.L.D., your JAM² 7.9 is ready to shred the trails even harder. We have retained the popular sensitivity of F.O.L.D., but changed the positioning of our kinematics within the frame for strong bottom-out resistance. The characteristics are fully progressive, resulting in a frame that offers plenty of stability on rough terrain. E-mountain bikes in particular, with the additional weight of their motor and battery, benefit from greater progression. This allows you to tackle any trail while the frame still offers comfort for long rides. The lower standover height of the JAM² 7.9 also gives you more room to play on the trail.

Riding performance comes first. The JAM² 7.9 will improve your rides, every time. Agile, fast geometry in a sleek, compact design will propel you along all kinds of trails, both technical and flowing. The FLIP CHIP on your JAM² 7.9 linkage can be used to adapt your geometry to an even more aggressive riding style. The small adjustment to the head angle from 65.5° to 65° and towards a longer reach changes the entire focus of your set-up, making it even more downhill-oriented. In addition, C.I.S. (Cockpit Integration Solution) ensures a tidy cockpit and consistently smooth shifting and braking. All cables run from the handlebar into the stem and through the headset into the frame. All your essentials also fit in the tool bag between the top tube and down tube.
