Checkpoint SL 5 AXS Gen 3 is a carbon gravel bike designed for long days in the saddle. Gravel Endurance geometry offers a more relaxed position than a road bike, while IsoSpeed helps filter out vibrations from gravel roads and rough tarmac.

• Comfort and clearance on gravel: The OCLV 500 Series frame with IsoSpeed combines pedalling response with flex around the saddle area. Tyre clearance accommodates tyres up to 50mm.
• Equipment on board: The down tube compartment provides storage for small items; bag, rack and mudguard mounts prepare the bike for rides with luggage.
• Apex XPLR AXS: The SRAM Apex XPLR AXS wireless electronic rear derailleur manages 12 speeds, with a 40-tooth chainring and 11-44 cassette.
• Volume for gravel: The 700x42mm Bontrager Girona tyres and Paradigm SL wheels are Tubeless Ready, allowing a tubeless setup.

Trek was founded in 1976 in Waterloo, Wisconsin, by Dick Burke and Bevil Hogg and is still based in the same city today. It makes road, mountain, gravel, city and electric bikes to support different ways of riding. Its story began in a barn, with 904 steel touring frames produced in its first year.
