Michelin Protek Max 29x1.85-2.30 Puncture-Resistant Inner Tube with 40mm Presta Valve

Punctures caused by penetration or pinching are the greatest fear and inconvenience for all cyclists. Repairing or replacing an inner tube is never a simple task, nor is reinflating it correctly. Michelin has researched and developed an inner tube based on a revolutionary concept. It is called Protek Max, a new type of rubber that repairs itself when needed. Inside the tyre, the inner tube has a special shape with raised sections that allow it to remain taut and pressed against the tyre. At the correct operating pressure, the inner tube's special shape allows it to remain elastic, making it very difficult for a foreign object to puncture it.
