Riding and travelling along B-roads, quiet secondary tarmac roads or off-road sections on bikes with drop handlebars and wide tyres is a way of cycling that we at Fulcrum have known and practised for a long time.

The new Rapid Red 3 is a product that is extremely comfortable on mixed surfaces, a wheel born from an entirely new design. Made entirely from aluminium, it features a rim machined with CNC to reduce weight significantly and an internal width of 24 mm, making it perfect for the latest frames with generous tyre clearance.

The renowned 2-Way Fit™ Ready construction allows both tubeless and clincher tyres to be fitted, ensuring broad compatibility with the various tyre types on the market. This versatility is further enhanced by the choice of 700c (from a width of 30mm) and 650B formats. The right combination of wheel size and tyre type can make this wheel model extremely fast on tarmac or unstoppable on the most demanding gravel, and it falls within ASTM category 2.
