SRAM Rival Aero Left Front Hydraulic Disc Brake

The SRAM Rival Aero hydraulic disc brake is designed for triathlon and time trials, where controlled braking with little force on the lever matters. The brake is available in a left-hand front version, fitted on the left for the front brake, and a right-hand rear version, fitted on the right for the rear brake. It includes a 1100 mm hydraulic hose (front) or a 2000 mm hose (rear), but no rotor or adaptor.

Power and modulation are optimised for racing, keeping braking controllable even with small lever movements. Reach Adjust lets you adjust the lever distance to suit a wider range of hand sizes. The Stealth-a-majig connector makes initial installation quick and practical. Black is the only colour available.

Founded in Chicago in 1987 by Stan Day and a group of cycling enthusiasts, SRAM is still based in the US city today. It makes drivetrains and brakes for road, gravel and mountain bikes. Its story began with a single product: Grip Shift, the shifter that lets riders change gear by twisting the grip.
