Giro Eclipse Spherical Mips Helmet

The Giro Eclipse Spherical is an aero road helmet that brings together the best technologies in a lightweight, compact design, ideal for road and gravel racing.

The sleek, close-fitting outer shell actively streamlines airflow to reduce drag across multiple angles of incidence, while the 14 Wind Tunnel™ vents channel air through the helmet to provide incredible cooling power that rivals our road helmets with much more aggressive ventilation.

Inside, the ball-and-socket design of Spherical Technology™, developed with Mips®, the brain protection system, allows the outer EPS foam shell to rotate around the inner shell during an impact to help redirect impact forces away from the brain and reduce their harmful effects. In addition, the progressive layering of the inner and outer shells helps provide more comprehensive protection: the outer shell is firmer for greater impact resistance, while the inner shell is softer to reduce the effects on the head. The Roc Loc® 5 Air fit system improves helmet stability and fit, while Ionic+™ antimicrobial padding helps absorb sweat and moisture and provides lasting antimicrobial performance.
