Tufo Hi-Composite Carbon Tubular Tyre 28"

Many professional cyclists choose tubular tyres for superior road performance. This is the lightest type of tyre and has lower rolling resistance than a clincher. The higher pressures they can reach also ensure maximum rolling efficiency and an unrivalled ride feel.

The use of a composite puncture protection layer and a high-carbon compound has made it possible to use a thinner tread on this model while maintaining high resistance to wear and punctures. The thinner tread reduces rolling resistance while retaining the ideal ability to absorb road surface irregularities.

SPC Silica
Tufo uses this high-performance compound in most of its road tubular tyres. With a hardness rating of 66 Shore (A), this blend of synthetic and natural rubber with active silica filler provides excellent wet grip and low rolling resistance.
