Trek Procaliber 9.5 Gen 3 is a carbon hardtail for setting the pace on climbs and in cross-country races. The 120mm fork adds scope on technical sections, while the 29-inch wheels and third-generation XC geometry help maintain speed and stability on rough terrain.
- Hardtail efficiency: The OCLV Mountain construction retains a direct pedalling response, with the simplicity of front suspension only. The 29-inch format makes it easier to roll over roots and small obstacles.
- Judy Gold air fork: The 120mm RockShox lets you adjust the pressure to suit the rider's weight; the TurnKey lockout is useful on smoother sections.
- 12-speed Deore: The Shimano Deore M6100 rear derailleur works with a 10-51 cassette: a wide gear range to maintain cadence on climbs and when accelerating.
For training rides with elevation gain and modern XC courses, Procaliber Gen 3 combines climbing efficiency with capable trail handling.
Trek was founded in 1976 in Waterloo, Wisconsin, by Dick Burke and Bevil Hogg and is still based in the same city today. It makes road, mountain, gravel, city and electric bikes to support different ways of riding. Its story began in a barn, with 904 steel touring frames produced in its first year.
