The Biotex Calore helmet liner is shaped around the ears and made from extra-fine Merino wool and polypropylene for very high thermal comfort and excellent breathability. Soft and thin, it moulds perfectly to the head, protecting it from the cold. Soft, supple and stretchy. The extra-fine Merino wool helmet liner is the ideal solution for keeping your head warm and dry during the coldest periods. The helmet liner's thermal properties, combined with the breathability of polypropylene fibre, help regulate temperature and prevent the unpleasant feeling of dampness. The helmet liner is lightweight yet very warm to wear and offers exceptional protection against the cold. With a simple yet refined design.
The Merino wool helmet liner can be used when temperatures range from -20° to +10°. The temperature range indicates the extreme limits of use. The midpoint of the range should therefore be used as a reference to meet your needs, which vary according to the sport, weather conditions and your own temperature regulation. To increase thermal effectiveness and protection, combining several technical layers is recommended, in line with the Biotex philosophy.
Biotex was founded in Faenza in 1990 from an idea by Antonio Visani and is still based in the Romagna town today. It makes technical underwear and clothing for cycling and mountain biking, supporting riders throughout the seasons. Its name combines “Bio”, life, and “Tex”, fabric: a reference to the idea of well-being through what we wear.
