Garmin Varia RCT715 Radar Rear Light

The rear-view radar with integrated camera and rear light continuously records your bike ride. It also detects vehicles approaching from behind and displays their icons on your compatible Garmin device.

Integrated camera
The integrated camera records what is behind you at a resolution of up to 1080p/30 fps. You can ride with peace of mind, knowing that clear footage is captured if an unexpected incident is detected.

Automatic incident saving
Don't worry, your back is covered. This small camera can detect an incident and automatically save footage from before, during and after the event.

Maximum awareness
Varia™ RCT715 features rear-view radar that provides visual and audible alerts for vehicles approaching from behind from up to 140 metres away.

Multiple pairing options
Pair and control the integrated camera with your Edge® cycling computer or a compatible smartphone and selected Garmin wearables.

Compatible with third-party apps
Used with a compatible smartphone, Varia™ RCT715 integrates with your favourite apps, such as Ride with GPS and more, to overlay rear-view radar alerts on maps.

Superior visibility
Alert drivers and motorcyclists to your presence as early as possible with the rear light, which provides daytime visibility from up to 1.6 km away.

Compact design
You can easily mount this compact device on the seatpost of almost any bike. The vertical design leaves room for your thighs and allows comfortable pedalling.

With a battery that lasts up to 4 hours with radar, camera and rear light in high steady or night flash mode, 5 hours in low steady mode and 6 hours in day flash mode, you have enough power for longer rides, all with camera recording at 1080p.

Garmin was founded in 1989 in Lenexa, Kansas, by Gary Burrell and Min Kao, and today has its global headquarters in Olathe. To accompany you on your rides, it makes Edge GPS cycling computers, Rally power meters, Varia radars and lights. A curious detail: the name Garmin combines the two founders’ names.
