Sram Maven Ultimate Expert Kit Brakes
Couldn't load pickup availability
Modern mountain bikes have redefined riders' capabilities, pushing power requirements for demanding riding further than ever. Maven is SRAM's answer to this evolution, with massive 18 and 19,5 millimetre pistons delivering 50% more power than Code disc brakes. But class-leading power means nothing if you cannot harness it. Swinglink translates rider input into progressive power throughout the lever stroke, maintaining the characteristic SRAM feel. And thanks to a rigid 4-bolt calliper that dissipates an incredible amount of heat, that feel remains consistent, so the last corner feels like the first. With so much baseline power available, there is a wider range than ever to fine-tune the ride exactly as you want with different pad materials and rotor sizes.

Four Rotors
With Maven, we suggest starting with the smallest rotors permitted by your bike and fork and fine-tuning from there. The Expert Box includes HS2 1x 180 mm, 2x 200 mm and 1x 220 mm rotors for those who want to try everything. Each step up in size represents a 14% increase in power.
Two pad options
Organic brake pads offer strong initial bite and lower overall noise. Sintered brake pads have greater resistance to sustained heat and perform better in wet or muddy conditions. With Expert Box, you get both.
Founded in Chicago in 1987 by Stan Day and a group of cycling enthusiasts, SRAM is still based in the US city today. It makes drivetrains and brakes for road, gravel and mountain bikes. Its story began with a single product: Grip Shift, the shifter that lets riders change gear by twisting the grip.
