Bergamont E-Sweep Sport

The Bergamont E-Sweep Sport is a new electric city bike in size 52 and Orange. Its build combines Mahle assistance, a Shimano Claris drivetrain and equipment for everyday journeys: it suits riders who want to cycle around town with motor assistance.

• Mahle X35+ assistance: The Mahle X35+ motor rated at 250 W and 36 V provides assistance up to 25 km/h.
• Integrated battery: The integrated Mahle DT battery has a capacity of 250 Wh and a voltage of 36 V.
• Hydraulic disc brakes: The Shimano BR-UR300 brakes work with Shimano SM-RT56 rotors measuring 160 mm.
• City equipment: A luggage rack with the SnapIt 2.0 system, mudguards and an Atran kickstand help with carrying loads and parking.
• Lights and tyres: Litemove SE front light rated at 70 Lux, Herrmans H-Trace Mini rear light and Schwalbe Spicer Plus tyres with a reflective strip.
• Shimano Claris gearing: The Shimano Claris RD-R2000 long-cage rear derailleur is paired with the FSA Tempo 42t crankset and 11-34t cassette.

Bergamont traces its origins to 1993, in a small workshop in Hamburg, and is associated with founder Stefan Berkes. Today it is based in the St. Pauli district and offers gravel bikes, urban and trekking e-bikes, and electric cargo bikes. Its story begins beside the Schlachthof, the city’s historic slaughterhouse.
