Schwalbe Super HP Rim Tape

The Schwalbe Super HP rim tape is a polyurethane strip fitted inside the rim, beneath the tyre, to protect the inner tube. This high-pressure model is designed for 20 inch wheels with an ETRTO size of 22-406 and withstands a maximum pressure of 7 bar (100 PSI). It is the right choice for riders using inner tubes on bikes with 20 inch rims.

The size is 22-406: check that it matches your bike's rim by checking the ETRTO code shown on the tyre or rim. The colour is blue. Before fitting, clean the rim bed thoroughly and position the tape centrally, without overlaps.

Schwalbe was established in Germany in 1973 by Ralf Bohle, with roots in the family business founded in Bergneustadt in 1922. Today it is based in Reichshof and makes bicycle tyres and inner tubes. Its name means “swallow” in German and translates Swallow, the name of the first tyres imported from Korea.
