The Scorpion Trail R tread is developed for use on the same terrain as the Scorpion Trail M, with medium-height, moderately spaced knobs and a broad range of uses. The specific central knob design, derived from Pirelli's motocross experience, increases grip and stability under both braking and traction, giving the Scorpion Trail R unique handling and reliability. SmartGRIP Compound is a compound developed through experience in motorsport championships. The single-compound solution delivers consistently high grip in both dry and wet conditions, even as the knobs begin to wear. The sidewall reinforcement technology improves puncture protection and handling at low pressures. An additional layer of Nylon fabric is applied to the casing sidewalls for extra protection and greater cornering stability.
