Pirelli Scorpion Race XC RH Team Edition Tyre

The Pirelli Scorpion Race XC RH Team Edition MTB tyre is designed for mountain bikers seeking a tyre for cross-country and XC racing. It measures 29 x 2,40 (ETRTO 60-622, ISO 60 mm) and has a 120 TPI multi-ply nylon casing with ProWALL sidewall reinforcement. It is Tubeless Ready with a folding bead, making it suitable for tubeless fitting.

The Race compound is designed for competitive use in XC races. The specification lists only one size, 29 x 2,40, available in black with a yellow label: before buying, check that the width suits your rim, as the rim determines the correct tyre size.

Founded in Milan in 1872 by Giovanni Battista Pirelli, Pirelli remains based in the Lombard city today. For cyclists, it makes tyres for road, gravel, mountain and city bikes, as well as inner tubes. In Bollate, it has renovated a factory dedicated to producing bicycle tyres.
