The 5SRS SQUADRON model meets or exceeds the requirements of European standard ECE 22.06.
This is the latest version of the ECE R22 test standard for motorcycle helmets, valid since 01.01.2020, which specifies and tests, among other things, minimum impact energy absorption, the outer shell's resistance to penetration, the strength of the chin guard and fastening, and other safety criteria such as the flawless optical quality of any fitted visor. Certified helmets must be marked accordingly, for example with a test label on the chin guard.
It increases the overall safety of the new generation of helmets by increasing the number of points covered in impact tests from 6 to 18 and varying the test speed.
