- The quick-release system allows the mechanic to press the jaws together by hand, at which point the clamp already grips the frame's seatpost firmly enough to hold the bike in position. Turning the handle applies additional tension to the jaws to ensure a secure grip.
- The clamp can grip tubes of any shape, with diameters from a minimum of 22 mm to a maximum of 60 mm.
- The Pro Shop clamp has a quick-release button used to release the jaws after first releasing the tension with the rotating handle.
- The jaws are 70 mm high, so the clamp works with smaller seatposts and dropper seatposts.
- The clamp is compatible with all Unior repair stands.
Unior was founded in 1919 in Zreče, in present-day Slovenia, where it is still based. For bicycle care, it makes tools, repair stands and wheel equipment. Its name, adopted in the 1970s, comes from the expression “universal tools” and reflects its roots in metalworking.
