IN MICROTEX UPPER
The Microtex upper is soft yet durable and stable, for a comfortable, consistent fit. Combined with fizik's most advanced adjustment options, this shoe delivers the precise, secure feel that racers demand.
SUPPORT AND COMFORT
A special section of the shoe's upper wraps around the arch and can be precisely adjusted using the latest Li2 BOA® platform for a perfect fit and improved plantar fascia support. Forefoot volume can be controlled using Infinito, a feature of the configuration. Infinito equalises tension and eliminates pressure points using BOA® fabric lace guides. This fit-shaping system works across a wider area of the upper, drawing the eyelets inwards evenly from all directions for a more supportive, comfortable fit.
DI VOLUME DEL CONTROL SYSTEM
The volume control system allows the fit to be adjusted separately around the instep and forefoot, whose shape and volume can vary considerably between riders. Using the latest Li2 BOA® Fit System platform with a smaller dial diameter and a lower, more aerodynamic profile, riders can customise the fit to their foot shape, ensuring maximum performance without compromising comfort.
IN CARBON R2 SOLE
The updated Infinito also features a completely new sole, with a carbon fibre structure that reduces weight and increases stiffness. With a stiffness index of 10, this sole is the stiffest in the Fizik range. A wide air intake and deep internal channels provide cooling airflow and help regulate temperature. Cleat positioning is slightly further back than conventional settings to optimise pedalling efficiency and reduce knee compression. This is particularly suited to very aggressive aerodynamic positions.
