The T47 threaded bottom bracket shell uses an oversized PF30 and EVO386 interface, with the benefit and reassurance of a threaded interface. T47/68 positions the bearings outside the frame width and is compatible with 68 mm wide T47 Outboard frame designs. T47 is a standard created by custom frame builders. It is threaded, has an internal diameter of 47 mm and is 68 mm wide. It offers the design advantages of being oversized and wide, as well as the practical benefits of threads.
The cups have CeramicSpeed bearings pressed into them. There are two bearing options. The standard bearing has CeramicSpeed balls and hardened steel races. The coated bearing has the same balls running on a 3 micron-thick coating over those hardened steel races for greater durability and even less friction.
