Schwalbe Gatorskin Black Edition Folding Tyre

The Schwalbe Gatorskin Black Edition folding tyre is designed for road bikes and riders looking for a durable tread. The black tread and sidewalls are reinforced: a PolyX Breaker made from woven polyester fibre reinforces the casing, while the sidewalls incorporate polyamide DuraSkin. The high-mileage carbon-black compound completes the construction.

Available sizes: 700x23, 700x25, 700x28 and 700x32. For the 700x25, the stated weight is 240 g and the pressure ranges from 95 to 120 PSI. Choose the width according to the rim and frame clearance: the 23 is the narrowest, the 32 the widest.

Schwalbe was established in Germany in 1973 by Ralf Bohle, with roots in the family business founded in Bergneustadt in 1922. Today it is based in Reichshof and makes bicycle tyres and inner tubes. Its name means “swallow” in German and translates Swallow, the name of the first tyres imported from Korea.
