Smartgrip Gravity
The SmartGRIP Gravity compound is the race-ready option in the Scorpion MTB range, with a formulation developed from decades of motocross expertise and valuable advice from former downhill world champions. A softer, tear-resistant compound with greater grip in all weather conditions. Excellent traction and control at high speeds, with a single-compound formulation. SmartGRIP Gravity is the answer for riders seeking a reliable tyre for every type of trail in training and racing, thanks to its consistent performance over time and in all weather conditions.

Hyper Wall
A new construction that improves handling and puncture protection at low pressures, key factors in off-road applications, especially demanding, aggressive disciplines such as Gravity and e-MTB, where bead strength and sidewall stability are fundamental to performance. Developed from Pirelli's motocross experience, this innovation features a taller rubber reinforcement on both sidewalls, combined with an additional fabric layer connecting it to the bead, stabilising (+10%) and protecting it while increasing pinch-flat resistance by 50%. It achieves the strength and stability under sidewall loads typical of downhill tyres, without the additional weight of a traditional dual-ply construction. All this translates into low weight, tread flexibility and therefore grip and handling even at low pressures (+25%).

Founded in Milan in 1872 by Giovanni Battista Pirelli, Pirelli remains based in the Lombard city today. For cyclists, it makes tyres for road, gravel, mountain and city bikes, as well as inner tubes. In Bollate, it has renovated a factory dedicated to producing bicycle tyres.
