The Maxxis Minion DH tyre is one of Maxxis's most aggressive. Designed for enduro and downhill, Minion tyres perform perfectly on dry terrain thanks to the double central tread blocks with a directional shape that reduces resistance on dry ground. The outer section provides the extra stability and grip needed for high-speed cornering.
Specifications:
TR- Tubeless Ready
UST-certified Maxxis tubeless mountain bike tyres feature the latest technology for lighter tubeless tyres. This technology offers better puncture resistance, improved air retention and greater strength at a lower weight than previous tubeless designs. Adding a thin layer of fabric coated with a special rubber compound has created a lighter, stronger and more airtight casing.
3CT MaxxTerra
An intermediate compound configuration is used in selected mountain bike tyres. 3C MaxxTerra is softer and offers more traction than 3C Maxx Speed, as well as greater wear resistance and lower rolling resistance.
EXO-Protection
This material is added to the sidewalls of selected mountain bike tyres and is extremely resistant to cuts and abrasion. This densely woven, ultralight layer is highly flexible and does not affect tyre performance.
