The Zipp 303 S Tubeless disc brake wheels deliver all the versatility while retaining the speed that today's cyclists demand and desire.
Building substantially on their winning heritage in the Spring Classics, the 303 S wheels retain their all-terrain character with a rim depth of 45 mm, adding a significantly wider internal width for improved performance and ride quality.
Today's road bikes are more versatile than ever, regardless of the road surface, while retaining their speed.
The 303 S features a redesigned rim shape and profile to optimise performance for any cyclist choosing this innovative new product. Tubeless and designed for disc brakes, the 303 S allow you to fit wide tyres at low pressures to tackle unpaved roads too.
The 303 S are among the lightest wheels in the Zipp range and are optimised for the best aerodynamic performance with a 28 mm tyre, but can accommodate off-road tyres up to 50 mm wide.
The key innovation lies in the design of the new 303 S; the external rim width has increased by 2 mm to 27 mm, and the tyre bed is a full 7 mm wider, with an internal width of 23 mm. The ability to run lower tyre pressures helps reduce rolling resistance and consequently provides a more comfortable ride.
In numerical terms, according to Zipp's internal testing, riding on a flat road at 40 km/h with a 28 mm tyre saves you an impressive 10 watts.
Last but not least, a very attractive price and refreshed graphics that will make you instantly stand out in the bunch.
Features
- Zipp graphics and a new identity that screams speed.
- Fastest with 28 mm tyres, also suitable for wider gravel tyres.
- Wide rims optimise the tyre profile and allow lower inflation pressures, especially with tubeless tyres. A larger contact patch provides greater grip, confidence when cornering and descending, and handling in wet conditions.
- Lower inflation pressure and greater volume ensure a comfortable ride with less vibration. Significant watt savings when using larger tyres inflated to low pressures.
- The wide rims create a seamless transition to the tyre, reducing aerodynamic drag.
- 76 / 176 DB hubs with a centre-locking interface.
- Maximum tyre pressure: 72.5 psi (5 bar).
- Disc standard: Center Lock
- Front hub: 12x100 mm.
- Rear hub: 12x142 mm.
