DESCRIPTION
The jacket is ultralight and protects against the wind without preventing sweat from escaping: underarm mesh panels improve ventilation and help maintain stable body temperature regulation without tiring the athlete. The jacket has a close-fitting cut to prevent the fabric from flapping during use.
This practical garment helps you cope with sudden changes in the weather, such as wind and unexpected rain.
It folds into a handy small bag that is easy and convenient to carry anywhere, so you are never caught unprepared by bad weather.
The integrated hood can also cover a cycling helmet.
HOW AND WHEN TO WEAR IT
The WINDJACKET 3D jacket with windproof hood is recommended when temperatures range from +5° to +25°. It has been tested for road cycling and MTB, and the integrated hood can also cover a helmet: in both situations it proved extremely comfortable and protective against wind and light rain. Check which size suits your body, choose the colour and find out when you can wear it and train in a high-performance technical base layer. The jacket is backed by Biotex's experience. The garment retains its technical properties over the years and through repeated washing, provided you follow a few simple instructions for garment care.

RANGE
Biotex's WINDJACKET range is the first barrier against water and wind. The protective membrane and double seams prevent water from getting through for several hours. These particularly lightweight, compact garments can easily be packed into a small bag that fits in a jacket or jersey pocket.

GARMENT DEL CARE
Look after your Biotex garments to ensure long-lasting use. We recommend washing the garment before use to avoid possible colour transfer to other garments. To preserve its properties, we recommend a gentle wash inside out at a maximum temperature of 40° and air drying. Make sure all zips, buttons and Velcro fastenings are closed. Avoid or reduce the use of fabric softener, as it inhibits breathability. Do not place on radiators or other direct heat sources, and do not iron. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee the garment's effectiveness. Bright/fluorescent colours may fade.
Biotex was founded in Faenza in 1990 from an idea by Antonio Visani and is still based in the Romagna town today. It makes technical underwear and clothing for cycling and mountain biking, supporting riders throughout the seasons. Its name combines “Bio”, life, and “Tex”, fabric: a reference to the idea of well-being through what we wear.
